I'm not sure we've settled on this new background and new layout...seems I have alot to learn about how to set up a blog! I was tired of the same pink and brown all-over print staring at me, so I thought a new color and print might be a good way to start out the new year. Tammi agreed that this one was better than the last, so for now it'll stay like THIS. BUT...there are a few things I just can't figure out...Like, how do I change the boring fonts that blogger offers? (*must have been a MAN who set it up, right? Not a "girly" font to be found in the layout options!) I've seen other blogs with much more interesting layouts and fonts...they apparently are owned and operated by much more savvy computer techs than ours is! And, about the header...why is ours so boring??? How on earth do I spiff it up a bit??!? So...if any of our readers want to toss some suggestions our way, we would gladly appreciate your thoughts! I'll leave you with the funniest thing I've heard all week...a little story brought to you by my sister, herself..... So, I get a text from my sister yesterday, about an hour after she left the shop. She had a bunch of errands to run before the kids came home from school, the last being a run to Costco. Apparently it was "free-lunch" time at Costco..aka "late-afternoon-when-the-older-women-of-Lancaster-push-out-their-carts-with-free-samples" time. Tam was pushing her cart through the store just trying to get the job done and get out, when she was stopped AGHAST at an old woman who was ferociously SLURPING every last ounce of a shrimp sample. Too stunned to move on, Tammi watched a little longer than the polite glance...only to find that the ancient woman was not sampling a piece of shrimp....but rather had PULLED HER TEETH OUT AND WAS LICKING CLEAN THE REMAINDER OF AN UNKNOWN SAMPLE FROM HER PEARLY WHITES!!! I've been laughing for 24 hours over the picture this story paints in my mind!!! I cannot think of another person funnier to have witnessed this site...except maybe our mother!

Oh, my! So glad I didn't get to Costco until Saturday morning--so I missed "Gumby" and her denture adventure!

I love the background...very cute. There are also so beautiful ones at thecutestblogontheblock.com...perhaps that is where you got this one!
Another FUN site I came across is http://www.scrapblog.com/builder/. It is how I made my mom's header for her blog at Just a Little Something For You. (it really is quite easy. I'm NOT a scrapbooking type person, but this made it easy and fun).
Anyhoo...she said you had asked about my little carrier for Mackenzie, and I bought it off of ebay. It was inexpensive, and it's very easy to use...but I just can't remember what the name of the co. was! (I'm sure they are still on there if you look it up...the price range I think was around $30).
In any case, your blog looks wonderful! I hope to make it the store on a Friday or Saturday sometime soon!

Warmly,
Jeane`

GAG. GAG. GAG!!!!!!! What on earth makes you think your MOM would have wanted to witness ANYONE licking off her dentures?????? Reminds me of the time your Grandmother and Great-grandmother were taking a little nap, having taken out their dentures. The doorbell rang, and they both grabbed them...of course, the WRONG ones which they discovered after trying to make them fit their mouths!!! Y.U.C.K.!!!
Do love the new look for the blog. You know more than you think you do or give yourself credit for, my dear Terri!
Love you, Mom
