Tis the season...

...and so it begins! The rush of shopping, the long check-out lines, the endless traffic jams......ahhh, sweet Christmas! Behind the doors of Lulu & Tutz we hope you'll find a slower pace, a Christmas scent or two, a smile, and a feeling of home.... I spent an hour at Target this morning....I meant to spend about 15 minutes - but that's not likely to happen for the rest of this month....there, or any other department store!!! There are a billion sale signs in the stores...everyone is desperate for a bargain! Although we have our "50% off Room" here in the shop...even that didn't seem like enough for people yesterday...they wanted to know what other specials we had in the shop! I guess we are all hoping to save a buck this season....thankfully, it hasn't completely turned customers off of shopping with us!!! Our tried and true customers know our sales are great, but if they want us around next year at this time, we need some regularly priced merchandise, too!!! Mama's got a few mouths to feed at home!!!! The season has started off well here...we're thankful for those who walk through our doors remininiscing of "days gone by" and "days to come", full of encouragement and kind words...we are fully blessed! We were made for times like these...family around the table, hearts filled with thoughts of giving, and a full appreciation of sweet tastes and sights!!! Oh! who could wonder that there was a precious baby King born many years ago, at a time so similar to this....let us not forget in the hurry and the bustle the sweet grace that was born that day....
