I'm in the shop today, trying to condense and pack away Christmas decorations....Strasburg is like a ghost town today, so there's few interruptions to the process! It's amazing how much dust can settle on a place that's been locked up for a week!
I just got a new camera, so I'm trying it out through the store to see if I like the way the pics download....I'm wondering if I have some settings wrong...they look a little blurry to me.
It's unbelievable that there are only 8 days left in January!
I finally decided to change the dining table from THIS...

A little pink for Valentine's Day...I love the fragile little vintage Valentine's cards. They're addressed to someone named Ruth. I wonder....is she still living? Who were the sender's of the cards? Are the folds and creases because they were cherished and loved hard? So much history wrapped up in a few little pieces of colored paper...
A few more little pink additions to the shop....perfect for a table for two this Valentine's Day!
This caught my eye as I was walking past today....I've walked past it so many times w/out giving it a thought or snapping a pic. It's a plate printed with two handfuls of Commandments to live by. I've been thinking much about integrity lately....seems the word integrity is wrapped up in these 10 Rules. If I follow them...hold myself and my children accountable to follow them, then who I am on this computer...who I am when I'm home alone...and who I am in a traffic jam will be one in the same. And my children will learn by my example-- to be who we say we are, even during the roughest of days...even when no one seems to be watching.
...maybe this little plate needs to go home with ME!!!

Oh my word...I just wish i could zip on over to your little shop RIGHT NOW!!! Alas...the babes are asleep and I'm here in Reading...thus...i'll dream! (maybe next week!!)
